PennWell’s position on the evolving Ebola situation

In light of the rapidly evolving Ebola situation in West Africa, PennWell would like to reassure all of its clients involved in the upcoming Offshore West Africa Conference & Exhibition that the company would never intentionally put attendees, exhibitors and other investors in the event in any direct danger.

Nigeria has been declared officially free of Ebola by the World Health Organization (WHO) as of 20 October 2014. Therefore, at this moment in time PennWell is committed to staging Offshore West Africa in January next year.

However, as alluded to above, this is a rapidly evolving and arguably unprecedented situation so PennWell is monitoring the situation extremely closely and should the official advice with regard to travel to Nigeria change PennWell will immediately be in touch with all of the event’s stakeholders.
